This is an example of the tracking and authentication power of the Bitcoin Blockchain. In 2018 I hired a local artist to paint the pyramid picture below. I agreed to pay $US 400. At the time I offered to pay in Bitcoin but he preferred $US dollars. On that day 0.1093 BTC, equated to $US 400.
On February 9th, 2019 I paid the artist $US 400 but at the same time I also assigned $400 to the Bitcoin address painted into the picture.
The exact date and payment is forever etched into the Bitcoin Blockchain for all the world to see.
